What is Restored Crochet?

1

Restored Crochet is a blog where crochet, faith, and real life come together. You'll find patterns, honest stories, and a little scripture — nothing heavy-handed, just real. It's a space for crafters who also happen to walk by faith and are tired of those two things living in separate boxes.

Who is behind Restored Crochet?

2

Hi, I'm Ariana! I'm a high school social studies teacher by day and a yarn lover by, well, also day — and night. I learned to crochet as a kid, stepped away for years, and rediscovered it after buying my first home. It's been restoring me ever since, and I believe that's no accident.

How often do you post?

3

I'm a teacher, so I'll be honest — I post when I can! I aim for consistency, but I'll always choose quality over quantity. Follow along on Facebook so you never miss a new post.

Do I need to be an experienced crocheter to follow along?

4

Not at all! I share content for all skill levels, from beginners just picking up a hook for the first time to seasoned crafters looking for inspiration.

Absolutely! While the blog is called Restored Crochet, I welcome all yarn lovers here. A lot of the stories, encouragement, and faith content applies no matter what's in your hands.

Do I have to be religious to enjoy this blog?

What faith tradition do you come from?

Will you ever talk about topics other than crochet?

Not at all. Faith is woven into this blog naturally because it's a big part of my life, but I never want anyone to feel excluded. If you love yarn and good stories, you're welcome here.

I'm a Christian, and you'll find scripture references and a faith perspective throughout the blog. It's present but never pushy, think of it as part of who I am, not a requirement for the reader.

Sometimes! Life has a way of showing up in the craft room. I may share teaching moments, everyday stories, or reflections on faith — but yarn will always be at the center of it all.

I'm a knitter — is this blog for me?
